The story behind the garden
A love of gardens rooted in childhood.
My love of gardens began long before I could name a single flower. Growing up surrounded by the flourishing gardens of my parents and grandparents here in South Gippsland, I came to understand something quietly profound — that a well-tended garden is one of the most generous things a person can create.
These rolling hills have always been home, and it’s here that I found my way to the dahlia — a flower so endlessly varied and joyful that it still surprises me every season. I grow, learn and share from this little patch of earth with an open heart and muddy hands.

Get your hands in the soil.
The best way to fall in love with dahlias is to grow one yourself. Our small-group workshops and open days take place right here on the farm in Korumburra — where the learning feels relaxed, the air is clear, and the flowers are everywhere.

GROWING DAHLIAS FROM TUBERS
Learn the full growing cycle — from planting tubers in spring through to lifting and storing them after the season.
SEASONAL FLOWER ARRANGING
Create beautiful dahlia arrangements using fresh-from-the-garden blooms, with guidance on colour, texture and composition.
OPEN GARDEN DAYS
Walk the property, meet the dahlias in full bloom, shop tubers and blooms direct from the farm.

A half-day on the farm covering everything from soil preparation and planting through to deadheading and end-of-season care. All experience levels welcome.
